Lone Oak Solar Energy Center
The Lone Oak Solar Energy Center is a 120 megawatt (MW) solar development in Madison County, IN. The project is an opportunity to invest in community, create jobs and increase tax revenues while generating clean, American made energy.
Solar is the new cash crop for farmers and ranchers. Lease payments provide a steady stream of income.
At peak construction, the Lone Oak solar project is expected to
employ up to 150 people. After construction, the project will employ up
to 2 permanent operations and maintenance (O&M) staff.
Up to $58 million will be invested directly into the Madison County economy through taxes, landowner payments and wages and benefits.
